“This was such a beautiful cottage hotel. The food was excellent. I had the best macaroni and cheese I've ever had. The village has more shopping than you'd expect. It's definitely worth the short drive off the beaten path. And of course it's a filming location for Outlander which makes it extra special. ”
“This was the most beautiful and best-equipped hotel I’ve ever stayed at in the UK. Not a single stain or speck of dust in the room—everything was perfectly clean. The water drained smoothly, the towels were wonderfully comfortable, and the coffee machine was a nice touch. Truly a hidden gem. Even though it’s about a 30-minute walk from central Edinburgh, I would happily stay here again.

Breakfast (hot and cold offerings) sets you up for the day. Good levels of cleanliness, except for cigarette ends in the allocated smoking areas - though this says as much about the people who drop this litter as the hotel itself. Would recommend this hotel.”
