“What to say? If you are on holiday in the area, this accommodation is highly recommended. The rooms and the building are beautifully decorated. Breakfast is super delicious and the owners are excellent. They take care of everything and also give great tips for the region.”

“We paid to check in early and the room was not cleaned. We had to ask for wash cloth/hand towel and none are available. Apparently we are not supposed to ask, the owner got a little upset. The TV did not work, the refrigerator did not work, We had to ask for some instant coffee (no coffee maker or anything in the room, just instant). No one came to check on anything. The window was stuck. We had to ask for fresh towels after a few days. There were only a few dead bugs in the windows and on the...

“We were very impressed with this place! The room was very spacious and thr bed so comfortable! We loved our room. Gifford House had their own attraction booklet that they took the time to put together to offer original choices. We were very grateful for the Scottish treats left for us. Any time I had questions, the staff were prompt to reply and help. Thank you again Gifford team! We hope to see you again soon!”

“Hotel was under renovation and their was a fault on the fire alarm panel both mornings which didn't make the stay feel all that safe with the major renovations going on. Their was no curtains over the window you could clearly see where the pole was taken out the extractor fan didn't work in the bathroom so the window was constantly open and didn't look like it could close. After the stay I recieved another bill from the hotel which km disputing through hotels.com as I had paid for the room...

“We stayed for 1 night in September 2026. The hotel was exceptionallyl well-run, with personal, friendly, and cheerful service. Be aware there is no lift.Wonderful breakfast with great variety, catering to specific dietary needs. Would definitely stay again if in the area. A real gem!”
