"We stayed here for one night as a stopover. The area in which it is located seemed a little sketchy. The front desk person was not personable. It seems like a "family friendly" place, and until late, children were noisily running up and down the hall. The room was clean, but basic. We made it through the night, but I wouldn't stay here again. "

Wilkieston Burn. This small burn flows from Wilkieston Farm about 2kms from here and drains into the Ceres Burn about 500mts behind me. It's not got a large catchment area but has no boggy ground or forestry to soak up any rain fall and with farmland on either side it can rise very quickly in a deluge.
