I love the location, you can walk across the street to the beach. Our room was nice and clean and staff was friendly. Just be aware they charge an extra $45 to park.

This hotel is a great location. Previously it was a Marriott. They have redone the pool area and the lobby. The lobby bar is great and the roof top when opened. The food is passable but not great. I always come back for the location across from Doheny camp ground and beach access.

Great staff; smooth check in; plenty of parking but be prepared to pay $45 day-didn't realize that until after receiving final bill. Was unusually humid- no extra fans in lobby or ceiling fans in lobby either. Not sure why. AC in rooms worked great.

Room 102 was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located just a few steps from the lobby. All of the staff that we interacted with were courteous and helpful. It's on the back side of the hotel, so no view (except for the rear parking area and the Surfliner train tracks) The small patio with 2 chairs was nice for fresh air in the evenings.

I truly enjoyed my experience. Normally hotels have such stiff pillows and beds, especially the couches. But coming in after a long day we practically sank into comfort, and I really enjoyed the firepit they have. I do wish the breakfast and lunch was free, but it was an enjoyable stay.
