“The Pub was a grade 2 listed building which was a 1700 era the best way to describe it is Quirky! . The internal pub area was full of history and upstairs the rooms fixtures and fitting new with the decoration being fresh but sympathetic to the age of the building. the food was good Pub Grub and the cooked breakfast was great Full English or Full Scottish Both filling and well cooked, served piping hot! Lovely outside area and caters for Dogs. ”

“Staff were polite and very welcoming. I stayed on a Sunday and arrived after 18.30. I parked in the Water Gardens which is less then a 5 minute walk and paid 50 pence for overnight parking.”
