โThis is a perfect location if you're on a budget and want to feel "local". The staff are very kind. Lots of floor space and outlets. Room has a FAN which is amazing. Would stay again. Would recommend. Close to tube/buses. Food shoppes and restaurants are close. โ

โIn 2025 not having reliable WiFi- whether the free or the โpremiumโ (capped at 8mbps if it decides to allow you to connect after you pay) is unconscionable. Someone needs to tell them itโs not the year 2000 anymore. Many other options at their price point. Avoid. โ
โThe pictures of this property are very misleading. The check in process was not clear and there is no one on the property to answer questions and no contact info.
Our room had things left from other guests and trash left behind. There were no blinds on the windows, which made sleep nearly impossible. The "free breakfast" was stale cereal, or so I'm guessing because, again, literally no one to ask. โ
โThis is our go-to place to stay when it's available. The location is great, the rooms are interesting (the smaller ones are really only suitable for a solo traveller) and the staff are helpful and friendly. Room 5 was a little noisy in the morning, but being on the front, this was no great surprise. It's a lovely place to stay.โ

A deluxe double room without a window was a bit dark, would have been nice to know this when booking. Probably wouldnโt have stayed there for more than 1 night because of that.
However the properly was very clean, easy to check in and very reasonably pricedโ

We had a room on the 3rd floor Goldfinch very clean with all the amenities including air conditioning, all in all very relaxing and great breakfast in the morning โ
โMy partner and I do a fair amount of city breaks for various gigs. I am not usually one to review anywhere we have stayed but I just had to with this hotel.
The room was lovely
The bed was really BIG and comfortable.
The shower was fantastic
The hotel was spotless
The complimentary bath products were really nice, plenty of shower gel, hair shampoo and conditioner.
The room (we had 306) was lovely and quiet, something we really didn't expect.
Air con worked wonderfully as it was extremely muggy...
โLovely one night stay. Check in was easy and staff were welcoming and friendly. Room was lovely with a comfortable super king size bed. Only slight issue was the room felt cold and the air conditioning unit didnโt seem to want to generate heat. Lovely wool throw blankets on the beds kept us warm though.
Restaurant was lovely and staff were friendly and attentive. Food was delicious and served very hot. Staff made sure the food was ok for us and kept our drinks refreshed.
