The pool and hot tub were down, the drink machine was out of order, the dresser drawer wouldn't stay closed, the beds were uncomfortable and you could feel the springs. The Staff were very nice and professional and the breakfast was good with a lot of options. They are renovating the 1st floor rooms which will be a plus once they are complete.

Staff was fantastic. The place was clean and overall, quiet, especially considering they are renovating. The breakfast was fantastic, and the 12 pm checkout time was very convenient. The biggest complaint I have is that the beds are incredibly hard and very uncomfortable to sleep. As mentioned, renovations are ongoing, so hopefully they will also replace the mattresses. Otherwise, would definitely stay again.

Check in was easy and was impressed by the staff during breakfast. The cooking staff stood by to help with any needs we may have. Food was delicious and hot and I was in the road with a full belly and another coffee in my cupholder. Check in and out staff were polite and professional. The room was very clean and comfortable, but I'd recommend a thicker mattress padding even though I slept like a baby after a 14-hour drive. I'd stay at this place again when planning another trip to and from south Texas. Highly recommended P.S - there are no nearby stores that sell beer or liquor that I could see unless you drive into town across the interstate
