Overall it was a pleasant stay. Location was very central to many highlights of Cape Cod. Being right on the beach and able to catch a gorgeous sunrise was amazing. We are a family of 5 and space wasn’t conducive - with couch pulled out, very little seating, minimal cooking facilities and dining table was high top with only 4 chairs. Kids loved pool/hot tub but they were in need of maintenance (scum on pool tiles and staining in hot tub).

Everything was amazing! View was great. Pool and hot tub were great! Only problem was we had two cars and only one car could be on the property & had to park the other car 5 minutes away from the property. But we loved everything about this place very clean and morning staff were amazing! & we’ll definitely be back!

The location is absolutely beautiful. Very nice resort. We were a little disappointed at first because the pool wasn’t working, but they got that under control right away. I will only complaint was the second night we were there. They were young people that stayed above us and partied and made tons of noise and none of us got any sleep. Other than that we loved it.

This was a great location for our anniversary weekend. We had a room that was oceanfront. It was perfect! The only problem was that you could hear the people walking around in the room above us at all hours! It was very loud! If it weren't for the soothing sound of the ocean, I might have been more bothered. Also, the heating unit in our kitchen did not work.

We had a great, one-week family vacation at The Sounding. Our room had a terrific patio which allowed for easy access to the lawn and grilling area as well as the pools and beach all of which were well maintained and clean. One thing we did notice, is that there is limited service here as there is no restaurant or dining options. Also, you need to be proactive in requesting new towels, amenities for the room, or cleaning services. This wasn’t bothersome for us but could be for some.
