“This is the second time we've stayed at the Mason Freehouse, it was lovely the first time we stayed, which made us keen to return. Although it is now under new management, it's clear that the lovely, friendly, warm welcoming atmosphere is something the staff are keen to retain. “What a tasteful yet homely pub stay! There was poor comunication between expedia and kings Head regards the number of people in our party for the room! But staff did all in their power to compensate and make us comfortable!! Will certainly go back and will give an excellent score. Loved the food and everything about it!! “We are returning to this stunning hotel for the 3rd time and love it here. Great service from staff they were able to give us a double room after we booked twin room available via hotels.com which was great. The food is amazing, fish and chips is a definite go to, and 2nd night we had a 3 course meal closer to fine dining with famtastic quality.
