The only issue we had were mosquitos swarms that covered the whole island for the last 3 of our 6 night stay. They were everywhere, including the beach and restaurants. In researching why, I found the local government had been hoodwinked into paying a biotech company to release millions of mosquitoes. The hope is to reduce mosquito in the future, but it certainly is at the expense of...
