“출장으로 콘월을 가게 되서 작년에 묵었는데 너무 좋아서 올해도 또 펜벤톤으로 했습니다. 내년에도 도 올꺼예요. ”

“Check in did not go as planned when we arrived they did not have our booking for the right day it was on their computer for the following 2 days, however they did have a spare room and all was ok.. Expedia advertised a guaranteed parking place at the hotel in the discription, this is not altogether true there are 8 parking places for 14/16 guest rooms and people using the bars and restaurants so it's a first come lottery.The rooms are lovely spacious and comfortable and all the staff we met...

“Very comfortable room, nice clean bathroom. The walls are a bit thin though so we could hear other neighbours, although everyone was asleep at night so no problem to sleep at all. The location of the hotel is great, it is a bit out of the town, in the middle of the valley. The garden is amazing and you can walk to the well a bit far down and to the town itself. The breakfast was very generous and varied.”

“Quaint while at the same time quite large, very good bar and kitchen food good.i thought the staff could have had a bit more personality but they were efficient ”

“Room was good and very clean had a issue with the window that wouldn't close correctly so had some road noise. Staff were bringing and couldn't do enough for you and made you feel very welcome food was brilliant and well cooked ”

“The property is tired. Some of the staff worked hard. Some were obviously inexperienced. But the big problem was there were not enough capable staff. Long waiting times for food. Ordering systems that failed. Simple things like getting your own coffee at breakfast did not work. Altogether a lack of energy and commitment to getting things right was missing. No obvious management. Fabulous views, great weather. Frustrating hotel. We stayed one night. Could not imagine staying longer. What a lost...
