“I stayed at the Capital Pearl from 28 August to 1 September. On the first night I was given a room on the 6th floor for the reason I checked in late at 6pm. But regrettably My wife & I couldn't stand a continuous drilling noise from repair work of the mall under the hotel. So I requested the reception desk to move my room to a higher floor. “Handy and nice hotel for Durban. Location not on the beach but good enough. There is 24 hours security and secure car park. The breakfast and restaurant is very good. This round my room is facing the road, can be a bit noisy compare to inward facing room.”

“Very noisy throughout our stay. Doors banging , furniture moving around in units above , people speaking loudly made it difficult to fall asleep , running up and down the stairs. Unit was clean and spacious but the bed linen needs to be replaced..very old. Hats off to the staff member who checked our unit on departure...I left behind a few pieces of jewelry and she was honest enough to hand it over to me. Scenery excellent. ”
