“Arrival & Atmosphere We arrived around 3 PM and check-in was smooth - there was one staff member at the front desk who was expecting us. However, the resort felt unusually quiet, almost empty. During our stay, most facilities appeared closed, including dining and the spa. It’s unclear whether these are only available in peak season. “Very clean. Restaurant was fantastic.”

“We were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff, and the room was very clean and well organised. The bathroom, towels, shower, microwave, dishes, and hand wash were all provided — almost everything we needed was available. It is a perfect place to stay for a night after finishing a Hobbiton tour.”

“There was no air conditioning in the room, so it was so hot I had to leave the front door open. Also, the noise from the cars on the road was so loud that I couldn't sleep well at night. And when I checked in, the hospitality was incredibly rude.”

“Had a one night stay following a trip to Hobbiton movie set. Stayed in chalet Frodo which is only a 10-15 min drive from Hobbiton.The chalet is very clean and well appointed. While quite compact it had everything the two of us required for an overnight stay. We had dinner at Osteria restaurant in the main centre which is only a 3 min drive away. Thoroughly recommend Osteria for quality of food, portion size , atmosphere and price”
