“A lovely hotel with beautiful views of Pemba bay and excellent, friendly service. The food at Clube Naval was delicious, as were the spa treatments.”

“The pre-trip communication was poor, but once I got there - everything was perfect! Would highly recommend & would go again. Great grounds, food, service. FYI: it is about 60 stairs to the beach, as this may be a consideration for other-abled individuals.”

“Casa Barry has an ideal location on the beach. Its at end away from the noise of the market and clubs, yet still super close to them. The staff and owners are lovely and helpful. Great deck to hang out on. Good food at the restaurant.”

“We booked two standard rooms over New Year based on Hotels.com descriptions. Whilst our stay was okay - the standard room was not like the Hotels.com description. There was no TV in either of our rooms, we didn't get water even once (despite asking), and the dustbin in the bathroom had previous occupant's litter in it - YUK! When we asked for TVs (as per hotel.com description) - they found one (no remote) for one of our two rooms but it could only play content off our own laptop. WIFI is...

“The Katebe Gallery was an amazing place to stay. Right on the beach with a beautiful view of Maputo. The staff are top tier and very friendly and helpful. Only downside (if you could call it that) is that the area is very quiet with not much going on in the evening- and everything requires a taxi across the bridge ”
