“Very friendly and accommodating hosts. They prepared us an amazing 4 course meal for dinner and a beautiful breakfast. We played games after dinner and they helped with suggestions about what to do in the area. ”

“Lovely place to stay. Cute ryokan style room with own toilet and sink. Onsen downstairs was ok but there are lots of onsens to explore in area for bathing after skiing. Location was excellent. A short walk to main Happo bus terminal. Also very short walk to Hakuba Valley Shuttle bus stop and skiing at Nakiyama slope. Not much of a walk to Happo Gondola either. Really enjoyed our stay with fresh matcha tea making stuff every day as well as a little treat - usually a kitkat or mandarin :)”

“The property and staff were AMAZING! The location was perfect, in walking distance to Happo One. I loved the traditional style of the accommodations. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone who is looking to ski or snowboard during the day and a touch of traditional Japanese when it is time to rest and relax.”

“Good location. Close to train and bus station and convenience store. Good breakfast, Huge and clean room, and reasonable price. Facilities(incl. hot spring) were somewhat old need to repair or change. Wi-fi was suck.”

“The room was everything I dreamed of having in an Onsen. It was beautifully appointed and impeccably clean. We chose the room with the western beds and found it quite comfortable and very spacious. The staff was extremely helpful. Spoke English well, and the food was amazing. The presentation of both our breakfast and dinner was a beautiful display of Japanese aesthetics. We loved the mineral bath, and we love the fact that we had an indoor and an outdoor mineral pool.”
