Great boutique hotel in the middle of Tuscany. Wonderful views. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We really loved the complimentary wine tasting at their nearby winery! We only wish their rooftop deck would’ve been open for even better views. The hotel and winery are family owned and it’s very clear that they value every guest!

What an amazing surprise! The town had so much history that I even called my daughter and sent her pics to see if we could shoot a video/movie there. The owners were an amazing couple who did everything they could to make us feel welcome. The dining experience was very high end with a menu that would make any foodie truly happy. This hotel was great. The breakfast was awesome. The location was perfect for walking the city as well as having great access to the train station. I also noticed a lot of the walking tours began in the area so it was convenient. Food choices everywhere and many many convenient stores nearby. The staff was great!

Fantastic place to stay. Within 10-15 minutes of the first gate of the city. Very excellent restaurant on site and friendly staff. Rooms were clean and spacious, and quiet at night. If you need the front desk early on the weekend, make sure to talk to them the night before.

Family and I stayed at la fortezza for three days...staff exceeded all our expectations and provided great help from where to eat to what transportation to take to the airport.

I was surprised about the hotel. My first experience in a hostel but would say that no difference to a hotel. Excellent compared to price. I would recommend and stay again

Excellent place to stay. Staffs are friendly and they even speak good English. They go out of their way to help and guide you. The place was clean and well kept. Location of the property excellent - right opposite to the station . That has easy access to main Florence station.

From the moment of booking, Silvia reached out to me & ensured she would be there by the time of my arrival, to give me a tour and make sure I knew the essentials, and if I needed breakfast where to leave, the menu the night before. The property looked to be in a weird area when I first booked but it was exactly the opposite. Just down the street was food and shopping and it was really close to a piazza.
