"We only stayed the one night as a stop over on a long leg of our Deep South road trip. The property was fine but out of the half a dozen Holiday Inn Express we are staying in this one didn’t just hold a deposit for extras. It actually took $20 which apparently it repays on departure. Several days on I still haven’t seen it return to my credit card. But what I don’t get is why it has to operate differently from its fellow hotels and any other on our trip and actually take a payment. Maybe IHG can speak to them and stop such a practice."

"The bathroom was really dirty and the freezer was broken. The carpet was also dirty and they have no elevator. Was not even offered a first floor room at all."

"Older hotel. Needs lots of maintenance. There was hair in our bathtub, drawers wouldn’t close on dresser. No outlets near beds for chargers. Worked for the price and a night stay. "

One of the women preparing the food took the ladle and plate that it was sitting on and scraped the sausage and gravy off the plate back into the container of sausage and gravy. That was disgusting."
