“We enjoyed this as our final stay in Norway after 2 weeks. It was idyllic, scenic, and we loved the hens and chicks free ranging on the property! So cute. The only confusion was that there isn't any signage directing you where to go when you arrive. We accidentally went to the door of their main home that is pictured in the Expedia listing, instead of the home that is the rental described. I had to message them when we arrived for clarification. Other than that, the stay was very relaxing....

“Driving into Hjelle through the lakeside tunnel was magical. This repurposed schoolhouse was a fantastic place to experience old-world Norwegian living. Loved the nook beds and touches of history. The modern bath and kitchen were integrated well. The property manager was kind and helpful - he let us know when the early snowfall unexpectedly closed down the mountain pass. Was a great site to just relax and enjoy!”

“We had a fantastic stay at Vollsnes Feriehus Stryn! Unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side, but it still gave us fantastic views!”

“Cozy cabin, shared bathroom in the main building but knew that going in. Good location next to a park on a lake surrounded by beautiful scenery. Shared spaces were very clean. Room was small but clean and comfortable. ”

“Hadde ett par koselige dager på Tysnes. Leiligheten var stor og ren Personalet var koselig. Helt nydelig utsikt over vannet og kunne fiske fra terrassen til vår store fornøyelse. Anbefaler virkelig dette stedet:-)”

“Ottima struttura per soggiornare a Sotra e arrivare facilmente a Bergen. Appartamento grande e dotato di tutti il necessario per un soggiorno in una casa vacanze. Camere giuste ma senza armadio. Letti comodi e puliti. Vengo grande, comodo e pulito. Torneremo molto volentieri!”

“I wish I had known that our room was on the 5th floor, attic apartment with a sloped roof. I'm tall and could only stand upright in the center of the room. I also wish I had paid attention that there was no elevator. The whole building has been beautifully renovated, but the apartment on the top floor does not look like the photos, because of the sloped roof. I appreciated the washer and dryer though. And the location near the ferry and the historic part of town was convenient. ”
