“The main problem during our stay was the noise. The walls are extremely thin — we could hear everything, even the people in the next room using their microwave. We were placed between two rooms that seemed to be traveling together, and they partied and slammed their doors throughout the night. By 3 AM, we had to ask them to quiet down. “Wonderful stay at a lovely historic property. The room was very nice with a view of Penobscot Bay. The hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable about the local history and community.”

“Our host made check in simple and easy especially since we were unsure of arrival time. Lovely place, great breakfast and easy access of route 1 and nearby dining and activities, Belfast farmers markets and local restaurants were less than 15 minutes away. Would definitely stay again!”

The host made our stay so pleasant, truly one of the nicest people we’ve ever met. The location is fantastic, just a short drive to several charming towns that are absolutely worth visiting. “The cottage was super ‘comphy’ and perfect for the two of us and had everything that we needed! The owner was fantastic and told us about all the things that we should do while there! Our pup was very welcomed and I knew he was safe if we needed to leave him for dinner. It wasn’t far from Camden/ Rockland/Rockport, which is where we spent a lot of time when not at the cottage. We will definitely suggest it to others and be staying with them again!!”

“Killed spider in web by bed. Bathroom floor was not clean. Hostess was so nice. Bed was comfy but cleanliness was not up to par.”
