“Lovely room, with a beautiful view. The added binoculars to watch shipping was a great touch. There were some problems around check-in (not Bon Ami's fault) and Nicci was fantastic in sorting them out (do contact them direct if you haven't heard back from them via Expedia). On street parking can be tricky. There is a car park nearby, but you will probably have to pay unless you're in and out between 8pm-8am. “Really good food, carvery on Sunday and breakfast were excellent. The staff were really nice and friendly, our room was clean, spacious and comfortable, would not hesitate to return. ”

“On arrival receptionist very helpful. Dinner v.good young waiter was extremely busy but nothing was too much trouble for him with anyone. Bed a little soft but v. clean Tea and coffee in the room. Breakfast next morning very good lots of choices. Would recommend very good value for money.”

“Liked how the staff upgraded us and were responsive to our feedback. Liked the bed and linen, and how, mostly, the apartment was clean. Liked how Oulton Broad North railway station was walkable, and how room 11 has a parking space - if hard to find and quite tight. The place was good value. Not so good: There was a stained grey rug in the living area that needs replacing. We didn’t have a tea towel or oven gloves until we asked. There was no bath mat - and not enough hooks to hang towels on.”

“The property was old and quirky. We had a comfortable stay and a delicious freshly cooked breakfast. The village is lovely and we took the opportunity to have a walk around. We met some lovely locals who stopped and chatted.”

“Immaculate room, very comfortable. Excellent bathroom - good shower, good towels, shower gel provided. Wifi worked fine - no problem connecting and good speed. Staff were very helpful and very friendly - that's the stand-out thing, really, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was everything I'd want and very tasty. A pot of tea (with two teabags) and a pot of hot water meant there was plenty of my favourite beverage. Very happy with the evening dinner from the bar menu...

“From the outside the property had old style appeal and parking which was a positive however when taken to our room this was at the back of the property and you had to pass washing hanging online, a laundry shed and general toot and tat. The entrance to the stairway to the room went past the back of the kitchen where the door was permanently open so you heard all the usual professional kitchen noises.. The stairway to the room smelt of cooking fat and there were dead flowers on the window with...

“The property had everything we needed for our break. Warm and comfortable and the hot tub was perfect! Great location for visiting Suffolk, we visited Southwold, Aldeburgh and the town of Halesworth which has plenty of cafes and pubs. Would definitely recommend.”
