“When I say I love this Inn, this is my second year visiting. The hot breakfast is great, customer service warm and friendly without being over done. I just love how they have created such a warm feeling environment to stay in. Its in easy walking distance to all shopping, site seeing, and ferry pick up. Yeah, this is my spot and i'm a budget travel gurl. Oh, oh there is a large grocery store next door that I discovered on this second trip. ”

“Doune Braes is very close to the Callanish standing stones, which makes it a super convenient location if the stones are on your itinerary! Everyone working at Doune Braes was extremely kind and helpful and the food (I had dinner and breakfast) was delicious. It is not a fancy accommodation, but the rooms are clean, spacious, and safe. Highly recommended if you are visiting Lewis and want to see the Callanish stones, particularly at sunrise or sunset!”
