There was no power on in hotel as the generator is only turned on at 6.00pm and the staff were using a torch to try and find our booking. “We loved the opportunity to relax in beautiful surroundings. We got to watch elephants drinking in the nearby waterhole in the dark and see the impalas jumping around. We enjoyed splashing about in the pool and listening to the elephants drink as we sat around a camp fire. Unfortunately the lodge needs some refurbishment and the staff weren't as hospitable as we have found in Zimbabwe. Our shower didnt work properly so we had to use another chalets shower.
