This hotel was under construction and shame on expedia and doubletree for not disclosing this to customers. It felt like I was walking into a war zone and it was supposed to be a relaxing and pleasant stay. I grossly over paid for the accommodations received

This location is currently going through a renovation but it didn’t really disturb much of anything. Beds and pillows allowed for a good night sleep with zero interruptions. I would stay here again for sure.

Suburb area of Detroit. Very clean and quiet area. Hotel is located just up the road from a walmart and all the dining places you can think of. Check in and check out was very simple and convenient. Staff was very nice and pleasant.

Very different from every Doubletree I've ever stayed at, in not the best way. Layout of the property reminds more of a motel with long hallways of a two story building. Gym is hidden and tucked inside corridor of guest rooms. A lot of renovation going on so some exits and wings are closed so you may have to take the long way from point A to point B. Staff is good the problem with this property is the layout of the building itself unlike most high rise Doubletrees.
