"Only stayed one night, but the staff were amazing and extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel does need a litten attention but its a comfortable place to stay. The bonus is the location, right on the seafront. Would definitely stay again."

"We had been traveling for about 18 hours when we finally arrived at the hotel. We were treated warmly and our room was ready even though we were there before check-in time. The room had a view of the water, was very clean, had tea and coffee in the room, along with biscuit snacks. The bathroom had a lovely shower, however it was impossible to keep the water inside the shower due to its design. We enjoy a full English breakfast which was delicious and more than enough. The hotel is in town, so very convenient to get around."

We had our dog and our room was the furthers away from the main entrance or garden, so would have been better if we was a bit closer. breakfast was really good and the bar was well stocked and a great view from the bay window. would defiantly stay again."

"We had a lovely stay at the Exmouth Beach Hotel. They were kind enough to accommodate an early check in for us, which we really appreciated. We booked a room with a sea view and it was absolutely beautiful. The location is perfect, so close to the beach and an easy walk to local shops and restaurants. The room itself felt a little bit dated, but it was still perfectly okay and comfortable for our stay. Would recommend for the location and views!"

"Great location, a literal two minute walk to the beach or the town itself. The room was presented decorative to our 10 year anniversary, compliments to the staff going the extra mile. Overall the room was very good, hygienic and perfect for a place to rest and recover from the days events. Our only minor observation was a faulty shower tap making it difficult to adjust the temperatures of the water and a window that was in a set position. This was challenging as it was a warm evening and we couldn’t open the window anymore than 10inches for a fresh breeze. Would recommend and definitely won’t be the last time we would visit the hotel if we were that way."

"Lovely hotel by the sea We stayed at the Langstone Cliff hotel before a concert at Powderham castle. We arrived early afternoon and decided to have lunch on the terrace overlooking the sea. Lunch was lovely and the drinks were cold. Having parasol’s kept us cool on a very hot day. Our room was lovely, quite small but had everything we needed and the air con was an added bonus. The travel to Powderham was easy and relatively quick with only a short walk to the station and then about a 15 minute walk to the concert. Breakfast was very good and service was again great. We didn’t manage to try the pool but it looked lovely. Highly recommend this lovely independent hotel."

"Lovely experience from start to finish. Easy check in, parking right by the lodge we'd booked and very peaceful and quiet. No air con in the lodge but we'd taken our own fan, only to find several already there. Lovely seating area outside and whilst we didn't use the self catering facilities everything was there had we needed to. Full size bath next to one of the doubles, and a separate shower room meant plenty of facilities for the six of us, with a twin room spare. We'd booked to use the lodge on a night we were attending an event at Powderham Castle as a group and it was ideal."
