“The pub is an old building, therefore there are things that cannot be changed, so if you are a light sleeper and cannot use ear plugs this may not be for you. It was not an issue for us. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, we had one evening meal there, breakfast was perfect, they were very accommodating by tweaking the menu to what you prefer. Very close to the caves and gorge, easy to access other attractions.”

“Lovely room and delicious breakfast. Only slight downside was there was only a bath and not a shower, but that's my personal preference. Will return.”

“Family room was grubby and hot. There was a fan in the room which we were grateful for but room was tired and out-dated, not like the pictures we saw when booking. The bathroom was old and dirty, the toilet flush didn't work properly and there was mould and paint peeling from the ceiling. The breakfast was nice and was the best part of our stay. Wouldn't stay here again.”

“All staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Accommodation and surrounding area looked dark and tired. No air conditioning in rooms however a fan was available to use. Great value for money”

“The B&B is definitely the best in my experience. Bedroom as well as bathroom are very clean and tidy. The paper folders in bathroom is antique-wise. Also electrical equipments are convenient and cool. Coffee server and fridge are stylish. Lights are well designed. Breakfast is delicious and plenty. Graham’s homemade jams are excellent. “Friendly staff. Only one lift operating, long waits. Insufficient staff in breakfast room, so shortages. Comfortable bedroom,some bedding less so. Pricey parking for overnight stay.”
