"Everything was superb from start to finish. The girl at the front desk on Saturday during the day was helpful setting up the Wi-Fi connection on my granddaughter‘s friend‘s phone. She was very helpful with a lot of other areas as well. She was top-notch please thank her from us in room 212. She worked on Saturday 3/28. I looked for her when we checked out on Sunday, but I don’t believe she was working. There was an older gentleman. Breakfast was great housekeeping was great thank you everybody at the Hampton Inn."
"Very clean and nice location, however needs more soundproofing. Had someone walking around above me until one in the morning and I could hear it clearly."
"Great place to stay for a weekend getaway, the home is historic, unique, and beautiful. The host was very accommodating and the property manager was happy to help with making the stay an incredible experience. I recommend the Prescott House to anyone looking to make the most out of a trip to the Adirondacks. "
"No complaints about service because I didn’t require any besides once weekly housekeeping but the rooms are just bare minimum. I stayed in 2 different rooms and both had super thin windows where you could hear everything outside. My main complaint is about the queen size room. The shower was just a curtain to pull across so water got on the floor, barely enough room to turn around and no shelving to put anything in the shower. The walls and baseboards were dirty and there was no where to sit and eat. No table at all besides the cubbies for clothing storage so I had to stand at that to eat. There was also no storage area in the bathroom at all - sink barely had room to set a makeup bag.
Finally, there was some sort of private event that happened at the bar one night (people were dressed very nicely) which is fine, but there was no communication to the other guests. So I felt embarrassed when I came down the stairs in my pajamas and had to walk through these people all dressed in suits. "
"Everything was fine indoors, the exterior could be improved. Outside one cracked window looked like a junkyard with old cars.
The price was right as was the location. Basic accommodations"
