“This is a basic motel. I originally thought the beds were too spongy but honestly I had a good night's rest. Their continental breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. Lots of dry cereal, juices, yogurt and boiled eggs. Their muffins were sad looking, thawed out frozen waffles of you choose that, and only white bread for the toaster. No bagels or cheese, no actual waffle maker. Their coffee was good though”

“Glad Selkirk has a decent hotel. Accessible room was spacious and everything was new. Back door direct to parking. But, never saw a staff member other than checking where I had to ring a bell. Pool had unsupervised children, some in normal diapers (not swim pants and no swimwear).”

“We had a good stay here overall. Room was clean and we liked the bunk bed option to make it easier to sleep with 4 of us. Bathroom layout was a bit strange, tub and shower were separate from the toilet and sink in another room. The breakfast was okay, nothing amazing. Great staff though, very kind and helpful!”

“Pro’s - -Excellent very helpful staff -Very close to restaurants, 7-11 etc…. -Room and all facility areas were clean -Lots of parking (I had our company 5 Ton) -In a residential area rated top 3 safest in Winnipeg. Walkable.. - Close to perimeter highway. -Very good value , would definitely stay there again. Con’s -No elevator -Rooms are a bit dated but every bit as clean as the airport Sandman I normally stay at. -24 Minutes to the Airport area at 7:15 am. -Ask for 1st floor if you have any...
