“Caravogue House is a lovely place to stay for a day in Trim. Easy walk to Trim Castle. We also walked to a restaurant and then a pub for live music in the evening. A close drive to Hill of Tara and Bective Alley. The hosts are very kind. Great breakfast that was cooked to order. Plenty of room for our family of 4. When driving to the house put the name Caravogue House in Google Maps (do not click from Expedia as that sent me in the wrong direction on Navan.) We highly recommend this B&B! ”

“Just a warning, the snug is behind the bar owned by the same family. There’s a small driveway at the end of the bar a hairstyle place and some other little shops. The hotel was very quiet and comfortable. The rooms were huge and the bathroom is very nice and all brand new. In the morning we did have some toast and tea and it was nice to have the availability of fruits and vegetables and yogurt and so on for the free breakfast the host was very nice.”

“Good location for Emerald Park however hotel room floor was filthy and not hoovered (pretzels and biscuits all over floor). We had to pay for everything as we went along and they wouldnt let us charge to the room. Shower was good when it worked. Most plugs in the room didnt work. Mouldy curtains in room also. They seperate the bar and restaurant however the menu is the same and we had to go looking for menus in the restaurant. ”

“First class. Had a late arrival, excellent check in process (ready with key cards, very smooth) and bar open till late. Rooms of high standard and breakfast was great. Can't fault this hotel. Would definitely stay again.”

“A stay at Lough Bawn house is always good for the soul. It’s a beautifully tranquil place to visit and to relax. Beautiful period house with matching decor and ambiance. Warm and comfortable to stay and read a book while looking out over the lake. Highly recommended. ”
