"Great, quiet hotel just a couple of blocks from the French Quarter. Want to be close to the action, but still have a bit of peace and quiet, The Blake is a good choice. Rooms are small but comfortable. Have the basics (fridge, coffee etc.!) Decent wifi for free. Best of all, it is very convenient by public transit to the airport. The 202 Express drops drops you at the corner. $1.25 and half an hour to get to hotel from the airport. Also, the hotel is on the St. Charles streetcar line to get to the Arts District. Definitely a better option than the super noisy, super expensive place in the French Quarter where I started my trip."

"We came to celebrate my 60th birthday in new orleans. When we entered the hotel we were pleasantly surprised. It is a wonderful gorgeous very aesthetically well kept. It was sparkling clean from front to back every area was immaculate clean. We enjoyed our stay very much and was proud to share memories and pictures on social media. People was so impressed with the property that they asked about what hotel this was. And we recommended highly to our friends and family. Will return to this hotel the next time we take a trip to New orleans. Very great memories made on this day at the hotel. Only drawback is they need to have access to microwaves for the clients that stay in the rooms or somewhere within the lobby if we can use the microwave that was only drawback. Other than that it was excellent experience and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. Thank you"
