“Everything about this stay was good. The location is very convenient, just off the freeway, yet the rooms were quiet and peaceful. The check-in staff was friendly and helpful, and quick. Any of the staff we saw were very friendly and always said hello. The room was clean and everything in the room worked. It was quiet and very comfortable. The pool was clean and warm, and the breakfast in the morning was excellent. I will gladly stay here again.”

“The staff was exceptionally welcoming and friendly. Went over and above to make sure our stay was pleasurable. The room was in one of the buildings towards the back, which was nice, since this assured us quiet. While the property/buildings are dated, the upkeep is impeccable. Plenty of pet areas all around the property. We did not use the restaurant, nor did we take part in the free breakfast. We would stay here again if we were passing through.”

“A great little place. I’d enjoyed a stay here one time before—on a Monday night. This time it was a Wednesday so The Laurel was open! I checked in at 7:45 so only 15 minutes before closing. I walked down the stairs, they gave me a table, I had a fantastic cocktail and very very tasty steak bites with nice accompaniment. “I reserved a suite for my mother and I, not knowing it was on the second floor with no elevator. My mother is disabled and cannot climb stairs whatsoever. The front desk person had zero compassion for the situation and zero remedies since I booked with Expedia (a 3rd party). I ended up having to book another a room on the first floor and coud not cancel the suite. Hard lesson learned on not checking on floor and elevator situation. “The room was large and comfortable. We were not aware that the dining room closed at 2pm on Sunday as we arrived hungry at 1:45 and were left forward to an early dinner. Very disappointed. However we did enjoy a great breakfast the next morning! We had some trouble with the tv and the front desk staff was great helping us out. Beautiful grounds. Thanks.”
