The pool was clean and warm, and the breakfast in the morning was excellent. I will gladly stay here again.”

“Stayed in Baker City while travelling to Utah. Hotel was located just off the interstate making it easy to get up and hit the road in the morning. The hotel was clean and there was minimal noise considering being position just off the interstate. Downtown Baker City is approximately a 20-30 minute walk to the beautiful downtown city centre with lots of local food options if you’d prefer a sit down restaurant instead of fast food. Great hotel at a great price. ”

“A great little place. I’d enjoyed a stay here one time before—on a Monday night. This time it was a Wednesday so The Laurel was open! I checked in at 7:45 so only 15 minutes before closing. I walked down the stairs, they gave me a table, I had a fantastic cocktail and very very tasty steak bites with nice accompaniment. “I reserved a suite for my mother and I, not knowing it was on the second floor with no elevator. My mother is disabled and cannot climb stairs whatsoever. The front desk person had zero compassion for the situation and zero remedies since I booked with Expedia (a 3rd party). “The room was large and comfortable. We were not aware that the dining room closed at 2pm on Sunday as we arrived hungry at 1:45 and were left forward to an early dinner. Very disappointed. However we did enjoy a great breakfast the next morning! We had some trouble with the tv and the front desk staff was great helping us out. Beautiful grounds. Thanks.”
