This place hardly rates 2 stars. The first room we were given smelled terribly of smoke, and not because of the wildfires. We were told it would be ready in a matter of minutes, so we sent out for a bite to eat only to find the chambermaid's cart STILL parked outside our door with the door open and no one around when we returned. After complaining, we were given another room that was ready. Since carpeting is so tough to keep clean, many of these budget places have switched to laminate flooring which gives the place a less than homey feel. And when the place is dimly lit with one ugly painting on the wall, smelling like an ashtray, it doesn't stay "please come in and rest your weary head" The mattress was perfect and we actually got a good night's sleep but couldn't wait to get out of there in the morning. The "breakfast" consisted of some cold cereal some bland looking bagels and coffee, I think. It didn't look inviting either so we pushed on. In all of this, the front desk woman was gracious and seemed to be genuinely concerned about our wellbeing. She, and the mattress were all that kept this dated relic from garnering a one-star rating. The pool looked nice but we had plans for the beach so didn't try it out.

They must remove the breakfast included because they have nothing just serial and reheated bread and coffee, otherwise the rooms smell a lot of cigarettes and the microwave was very dirty and the pillows did not smell good. Ah, the pool was not working for supposedly maintenance.

We left after checking due to the filthy conditions. The bed sheets were clearly not clean, and it smelled like cigarette smoke in a non smoking room. Still go charged, as they refused to return my money. Wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The room had no frills. It was cold as in the way it’s presented not homely in any case. It was basically four walls two beds one TV no dresser no place to put your clothes. There were hangers. The lights in the ceiling made the room feel cold.. To each their own, but I’ll never stay there again. I will say this, though in room 230 it’s probably the best shower I’ve ever had in a motel.. Powerful water flow..
