I guess if you travel to a country where French is the first languages expected however for the price I would have expected more English friendly service. "

"This hotel is the perfect spot to stay if you are in Chalon. The front desk is very helpful. It is a quick walk to parks and other tourist areas. Walking through town is a delight. Breakfasts and dinner at the hotel restaurant were wonderful. One of our best memories will be the breakfasts both because of the view of the plaza but especially the food. My husband also states that they have the best croissants in all of France! "

"We were driving from Bordeaux to Frankfurt and chose this hotel from Expedia’s site on a Friday because it had onsite parking and a restaurant. After checking in the receptionist told us (a) the hotel’s parking area was not safe so we should not leave any bags in the car and (b) the restaurant was closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday ! We couldn’t get a refund but we found another hotel a few kms away with a secure parking lot and two restaurants, so we relocated. "
