Amazing views from every window. Very clean. Beds were really comfortable. Only complaint was lighthouse stairs but that was clearly mentioned in description but i didn’t realize how many stairs there were.

Wonderful location but as it is a historical property there was no elevator, so the walk up 4 flights with luggage was a struggle! The view was worth it however!

I’m sorry to say that I wouldn’t recommend if you have luggage. The flat itself was lovely, updated and a great location but the atrocious 5 story flight of twisting rackety staircase which is actually duct taped at the bottom is dangerous. I am aware that Edinburgh is known for all of its stairs, however, you should warn us before a 50 year old lady has to carry a 50 pound suitcase up that death trap.

The location of the apartment was excellent and we are fit enough to cope with the 5 flights of stairs but others may not be. We could watch the evening light display on the castle walls from the sitting room which was lovely.
