The resort itself is breathtaking. From palm-lined gardens to ocean views, every space feels calm and beautifully designed. Our accessible room was both elegant and practical, with seamless access throughout and a private balcony that offered the most stunning views of the sea. It was wonderful to enjoy room service and unwind in comfort without a single compromise on style. Dining was outstanding — especially the seafood restaurant, where we enjoyed tender baby squid, the best paella we’ve ever tasted, and local wine that complemented it perfectly. The lobby bar’s cocktails and an impromptu rum masterclass were unexpected highlights. The spa was a true sanctuary. The therapists were lovely, and the range of treatments and facilities — from saunas and sensory showers to yoga on the terrace — created the perfect setting for relaxation. Accessibility was considered throughout, and I found using the facilities simple and safe. The Ritz Carlton Abama is a shining example of how luxury and accessibility can exist side by side. "Beautiful, well kept hotel. Spacious rooms. Huge pools surrounded by palms and gardens. Food is generally very good and there is enough variety to please most people, most nights. Half board was good value, for us, as drinks are not expensive, with nice cocktails for €7 and beer for €4. Unless you are a massive drinker or never want to leave the hotel, all inclusive is probably less good value. "

"Really good location and only a short walk to the bus station. Staff were very pleasant. Breakfast was the best I’ve had in Puerto , there was something for everyone to eat and very good quality. The building was very clean and had great WiFi . I’ve been here 3 times now and will be booking again in the future."
