“A great little place. I’d enjoyed a stay here one time before—on a Monday night. This time it was a Wednesday so The Laurel was open! I checked in at 7:45 so only 15 minutes before closing. I walked down the stairs, they gave me a table, I had a fantastic cocktail and very very tasty steak bites with nice accompaniment. “The booking photos are deceiving as it was very old, poor linens, stale smell. Hair on the linens, on the floor, sink and shower, other peoples hair everywhere!
