This is NOT the Hampton Inn. It is now called Spark. I stayed here for 6 days 5 nights for the Run 4 Roses tournamentโฆ it was the cheapest in the area. The staff at this hotel smiled and were very friendly however they were the laziest Iโve ever encountered. 1st off we asked for the rooms to be cleaned and they came in and only changed the trash and left a note that said โsorry I couldnโt clean the bed because you have personal items on the bedโ. I literally left a Bible on the bed. They took towels and didnโt replace them or replace toilet tissue. 2nd most of the guests put their trash in the hallways to be picked up and the trash stayed there for many hours making the hallways appears to be dirty. Bed linens were also left many hours in the hallways before housekeeping to gather. 3rd they have bed bugs in one of our beds. 4th among checking out, I left an item and the front desk could care less about me getting it back. They said โcall back tomorrow and check with house keepingโ. Most hotels workers wouldโve checked or even called you back to inform you that items were left! This hotel puts alot of responsibility on the house keeping and house keeping could literally care less. Most of the employees sit outside the hotel and smoke cigarettes. I had to check out and get another hotel.
