“Nice sizeable and comfortable room. Unfortunately it was quite hot due to it being on the second floor and after a string of hotter than usual days, not helped by the fact that the heated towel rail (from the hot water system) couldn't be shut off. But a great old pub to stay in all the same. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant.”

“Great pub super location but the restaurant part needs looking at had English breakfast twice and it started at 8am we sat down at 8.05 and the bacon, sausage, hash brown were rock hard and a lot of people were asking for yogurt but were told sorry but delivery was late (3 days late) Would we go again. Yes”

“The location was great for our purposes and the parking was good. Breakfasts were excellent, there was a nice patio and garden out the back. Well-run family B&B. The principal negatives were the noise (our suite overlooked the main road) and the very spasmodic Wi-Fi. At this price point it was disappointing.”

“What a hotel! Booked to stay for work purposes and WOW... Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant were clean and very well kept and decorated as well as the beer garden which I didn't use but could see from my room and it was beautiful to look out on to with the church just to the side of it! My room was just perfect. Comfy pillows and bed, nice big TV, very nicely finished bathroom. All amenities in room as well as some nice little extras that make you feel that...
