“We stayed for 3 nights and it was the most relaxing and beautiful stay in the countryside of Cotswolds! The studio pod is spacious enough for two people, kitted out with good appliances and everything you really need for a lovely stay. The bed is very comfortable (I have back problems and can never get comfortable away from home, but this was great comfort for me). The location is perfect, close to many places of interest. Very serene waking up to the views! ”

“We enjoyed our stay overall, there’s a decent pub 2 mins away. Some basic items missing, garden furniture needs renovation, the upper stairs are precarious, use caution, one of our guests had a nasty fall. ”

“We stayed 2 nights in a suite. The room was delightful and we slept very well. Dinner both nights was outstanding and we wished we could have stayed longer to try out more of the menu ! Breakfast was freshly cooked each morning and also delicious. Would definitely return. ”

“Room was nice, spacious and exceptionally clean. But the food was poor, avoid the Market kitchen. Brasserie 34 was the nicest. If you have mobility issues the hotel is massive and there is no assistance getting from the car park to reception with your luggage ”

“An absolutely beautiful authentic old inn. 10/10 on character. We had our dinner in the pub below and the food was amazing. We can't say enough good comments about this inn. ”

“The room was not as we saw on the website, we didn’t have a garden view but a large wall, which made the room really dark, the carpet was stained, the breakfast was ok until my husband saw the chef put cereals spilt on the table back in the pots with the ones to be eaten , there was a big sign outside saying come and look at our refurbished rooms, we certainly didn’t get one ”

“Really lovely motel with lots of thoughtful touches to make the stay comfortable. The shower was incredible, like a therapy session in itself. We were less impressed by the adjoining diner. The food missed the mark a bit, although the restaurant itself and the ambience was good.”
