“The hotel is very nice, few kilometers out of the city but very well located in a small village surounded by corn and tobacco fields. The owner and all the staff are super nice, the food is good and we got to use an e-bike for free which was very helpful. I would recommend this place 100% for a few relaxing days in shaxi.”

“The room is modern and super clean, with a japanese toilet (personal plus points) overlooking the lake and mountains! Gorgeous in the day and serene and calm in the night! The experience from beginning till the end was superb! We had a person who looked after us during our stay (xiao gan is his name)! Amazing amazing service! 100% recommended!!”

“Extremely local chinese hotel. English speaking staff were far and few. Staff all hesitant and not confident to deal with foreigners so the communication was a struggle. But everyone was nice and polite. The common areas are not well maintained (i.e. lobby) so if you are looking for an upscale experience this is not your place. Most importantly the operations and management of the place is very poor. Everyone was all over the place. It was a mess. The team couldn’t manage the guests and it...

“The heritage hotel is great, the hidden entrance will bring you inside the Ming dynasty court to discover this little gem. Is like a jump in the Emperial Time. The service is polite and welcoming, but they don't have an appropriate information material to give to the clients about the local tourist attractions and how to reach them, even they can rent you the hotel's bycicles. The rooms are great, we stay in a cozy suite, but without fridge and mirrors except in the bathroom.”
