“Charming hotel with very accommodating staff. We were able to check in early. Thank you. Our room in the older section of the hotel needed some TLC - vinyl floor in the bathroom in particular. Nice, full breakfast”

“Room was nice, bed was comfortable, breakfast had good selection. We brought our x2 dogs and as with a lot of other stays we’ve done felt a bit short changed with the £30 per dog fee. Would recommend having a fridge in a dog friendly room as some dog food needs kept in a fridge. Otherwise had a nice stay and would likely stay again.”

“Breakfast was good and the lady tending it was very sweet. Front desk staff was very rude. Pretty bad first impression. Also — really looking forward to the hot tub and but again front desk staff had no idea what I was talking about despite it being listed as an amenity on the website. Kinda rots after a long hike on Hadrians wall. Carpeting throughout was old, outdated, and very grungie. Overall, very mid.”

“The Station Hotel is reliable, and I always stay here when passing through Carlisle. The prices are highly competitive, the rooms are large, and the staff are friendly. A couple of minor niggles is the lack of catering in the evening (they do breakfast, but no evening meals or bar meals) and the wifi is not particularly fast. Other than that, I always enjoy my stay here.”

“Great location but very noisy in our front room at the weekend with revellers coming out other pubs. Staff all really helpful and can't do enough for you. Plenty choice at breakfast”

“The public areas were a bit dark and gloomy. The bedroom was hot and stuffy even with the windows open. Some furniture was quite old fashioned but the bed was comfortable enough. The food was OK but lacked better wine choices. The breakfast was a bit too greasy. Staff were friendly and helpful.”
