“I’ve been going to St Croix for 12 years and need to advise that if you’re looking for a 5 star luxury hotel / resort; you’re on the wrong island; goto St Thomas. Hotels here are mainly historic / small, which keeps with the island. With that said I loved staying at this hotel. Something to consider when staying here is that it is located about 40 minutes away from the main city area (Christiansted) and the roads leading up the hotel get narrow and the cell service gets shotty. “Rooms need a deep clean to get rid of all the sand from previous guests. Wasn’t a very welcoming or friendly hotel. The very nicest people who work there are the guards at the gate. So nice. Everyone else, didn’t really care. Based on others’ reviews we skipped the pool and restaurants. The beach was pretty but that’s all the resort has going for it. ”
