We fish this area a couple times a year and this place is perfect for a couple of guys who fish 12 hours days for 3 days and need a clean place to sleep. Staff has alway been great, and rooms always clean, donā€™t leave any thing your car of value, because it wonā€™t be there in the morning.

Very nice staff at check-in. Maybe because it's October, the town was very quiet -- there were not a lot of dining options.

It was a bit tricky to find the parking but after that of was smooth sailing! If you want somewhere relatively cheap, next to a dispensary, grocery store, multiple gas stations, and places to eat. Then this would be the place to go. You are also 10 minutes from the trinity river! Overall a great location.

Buyer Beware

Booked a queen size bed, but got a double bed instead. Walls are paper thin. Room and bed were reasonably clean. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

I was looking for a basic, no-frills room at a great price and this place filled the bill perfectly. I especially liked the receptionist, (I forgot his name), who was very warm and friendly, got me set up in my room right away, and gave me a parking place with access to an electrical plug which I needed. He also went out of his way to find me a chair in the evening when he saw me sitting out front with a beverage taking in the view. What more could you ask for?

The room was very cold, had the heater on high the whole time. The bedding was clean sheets, and the blanket wasn't much heavier than the sheet. I wasn't comfortable sleeping most of the night.

Average budget motel room, slightly dingy but overall fine. Check in guy was really friendly, place felt safe, bed was comfortable, shower had hot water and good pressure. But I did notice there was no smoke alarm in the room, and they were kind of cheap with the linens (no bath mat). No really Bigfoot theme either, although there were a few Bigfoot pictures in my room. The vibe was kind of depressing, but I would probably stay there again because it was located right in the middle of town, and like I said, it was basically fine.

The staff was off sight. I have to say though that via Ring and SMS he was still very helpful, friendly and curious. Actually he was the best part of our stay. Problem #1 The bathroom smelled of urine. AND in the bowl was URINE. Problem #2 The floor in the bathroom is woeful. I put towels down so I didn't have to walk on it by the toilet. The flooring was shot. It was pulling away from the floor boards, walls and fixtures. Problem#3 the sink had a leak, but not to worry, the garbage can was on the job! Problem#4 The shower water knobs we're reversed, and the curtain was gross šŸ˜. The beds were ok. When we figured out my dog fee wasn't charged when I payed for the room on line. The staff was willing to let it go in lieu of the room conditions. Why didn't we switch rooms? We had just unloaded the car, it was a long 6 hrs on the road. I have degenerative Disc disease and advanced arthritis. (My back is breaking down. From my cervical (neck) and the lumbar & sacrum ( Low back &Tail Bone) My right hip is in the same condition. I would not ask Nick to move us back across the drive way to another room (which had been offered). He was exhausted too. It was better for us to find peace where we could, accept the no charge on the pet fee, get some rest and leave early. Which we did. Sad to say, We will just not be able to return there.

Not a very good hotel

this is an old hotel needing repairs, improvment. The bathroom floor felt soft and inclined down, the toilet paper holder was missing one side, the shower was very small & you could barely move around. The bed was soft and squeakly. The air conditioner was so high and could not see the controls. It worked good though. NO coffee maker in the room. There were neighbors who lived next to the hotel who were loud & partied until 2:30 AM so we didn't sleep well.

Stayed at Big Foot Motel for three nights. Positively, we were upgraded due to a non-working TV, which was a nice touch. However, the room had issues: a dirty, unusable fan; found used clothes under the bed; and frequent bumble bee visits in the bathroom. The room smelled strongly of cigarettes, necessitating the purchase of an air freshener, and the outside area smelled of cat urine. On the upside, the large bathroom and three effective heaters made our stay comfortable. The fridge, microwave, and TV functioned well. Its location was convenient, close to food, a gas station, the river, and our family, making it ideally situated. Despite the cleanliness and maintenance issues, the motelā€™s location and some amenities provided a decent stay. With improvements, Big Foot Motel could be a much better choice for travelers.

Quality equal to tenting in the rain, pick tent!

I knew the motel was older....but it just went downhill from there. 2 of the lights in the room were out. One missing a switch. Carpet was old, soiled with a wear pattern. Dresser was stained and dirty inside. Room 23 needed everything replaced except the bed. No hair dryer. Extention cords powering things. Bed was clean but that is a given. We stayed because it was raining. TV was partial funtioning, sink missing stopper.....loud neighbors. Interesting artwork view out bathroom window.

My review is not aimed at the staff. They were all polite and helpful. I appreciated that there was only a ground floor and it was easy to get my things in and out of the room. However, the shower was so tiny I could barely use it. The room itself is extremely small and the furniture is due to be replaced. They advertise that they have wifi but the connection is so weak that you canā€™t really do anything with it. It seemed like every other room in the place was being used by workers who were there to repave the highway. They were very noisy. The property in general was very run down and I struggled to lock my room at night. I did not feel safe there. Potential guests should also be aware that the entire area surrounding Willow Creek has some kind of road construction going on, so there were huge trucks barreling through, beeping, coming and going at all hours. And the road was down to a single lane in many places. This was the noisiest little town in the woods Iā€™ve ever visited.

We did not stay there after we got there and checked out the room. The front desk person was on lunch break and could not even bother to meet us in person we had to check in via Ring doorbell and then phone call. The room was supposed to be a premium room. The shower had major mold, no door or curtain, no soap, the toilet was dirty, the room smelled terrible and the stairs up to it did not even look safe. The whole place looked very sketchy and we left without staying there. The pictures on website do not represent what it is. We found lodging an hour away after a long drive. very dissapointed.
