All of the KyY State Parks are a wonderful experience. The rooms are clean, comfortable and the staff is super nice. The restaurant offered delicious buffets and off the menu meals. Lots of opportunities to hike, see the sites. There are local restaurants, amenities and seasonal opportunities. Overall a great experience.

Upon entering the room, there was a musty smell. The controls on the shower were difficult to figure out! The bed was comfortable and the balcony was very nice!!

We were in town for a family reunion staying in one of the two bedroom cottages. Our cottage was clean, and stocked. The only thing missing was an extra blanket. We enjoyed our stay and just wish the weather would have been better to explore! We plan to return for another visit!

Clean and comfortable a nice weekend away. Staff are friendly property is laid out well . Nice place to get away for a few days. No refrigerator or microwaves in rooms so prepare for that with coolers ect. We will stay again

Great getaway for couples!

Weekend stay didn't disappoint! Great location near the Rough River Dam, with a view from our room that was absolutely beautiful. Check-in was fast, and the both the lodge and room were clean. A highlight was an American Eagle flying by the lodge during our morning coffee on the balcony. We will definitely be back!

The lake was beautiful. The room was ok. There's no refrigerator and the sheets were itchy. I didn't like how you have to walk outside and down stairs to get to your room door. The view from the room window was gorgeous. It was nice for a little get away. The staff was nice.

Great service from reservations to resturant . Reservations very accommodating in last minute change of plans on holiday weekend with a packed house . Always responded questions through text messages also which was awesome ! Beds were a bit hard but bedding and pillows great . Pool is great as well as accessibility to lake and boat ramp z will stay again ! Great prices also

It was a very relaxing and peaceful stay. On a Wednesday, so very quiet. My lodge was on the lake side with a screen door... with perfect weather. Food was awesome. I had country fried steak with derby pie. I'll be back!!

The rooms were very outdated. Worst of all is there was no mini fridge or microwave, so you had to go out for all meals. We were there over a holiday weekend. The dining room was open for all meals and the food was good, but you could not order one or two items from the menu. The wait staff were friendly. The pool looked well maintained but we did not get the opportunity to try it out.
