Relaxing stay in a good location.

This hotel has been known to 4 generations of my family and I wanted to experience it and Fareham for myself. The hotel was great - and the range of breakfast items and friendly attentiveness of the breakfast staff was exceptional. The hotel is well placed for Fareham centre.

Really convenient hotel for our stay plus very reasonable price. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. I'd certainly stay again when I'm next in the area.

Ok, but not exceptional. Reasonable value

Typical old town centre pub, repurposed into hotel/eating place. Standard Greene King food offering, ok but not exceptional. Room condition was good and comfortable, only negative was an all pervading aroma in the room and in the Stables accommodation area - like a strong aftershave! Overall, reasonable value.

Visiting famile in Fareham

Two adults and a grandchild stayed in room with 3 beds which was perfect. Breakfast was lovely and cooked fresh. Waitress was so lovely, nothing was too much for her and she was so smiley and friendly. Excellent stay.

Home-From-Home in Welcoming Hotel

We regard this place as our home-from-home, as we stay quite often. We always receive a warm welcome from the friendly and helpful staff. Our room was comfortable and clean, the restaurant menu is varied and the on-site parking is convenient .

Relaxing stay

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I slept well. I thought it might be noisy with our window open but it was surprising quiet. Parking was pay on arrival but you can give your car registration to the hotel reception and that allows you to park foc during your stay.
