"We had a very nice stay here. We appreciated having a good restaurant on site, as nothing else was open in town. Note: this hotel is located in Sabuguiero, not Seia, so it’s a little more remote. "

"This lodging is especially wonderful. We have stayed at many places- United States, Africa, South America, and Europe, and this place stands out as ultra friendly, hospitable, with an amazing renovation. The owners go avice and beyond to ensure your stay is special. The pool, surroundings, and lodging are absolutely beautiful, the area is soooooo peaceful and quiet- a blissful stay and good night’s sleep. "I booked 6 rooms as a group booking. All rooms were very well appointed and luxurious. The staff in particular were first class, with a special call out for Vanessa who was friendly, hospitable and just a delight."

"We had a wonderful stay, welcomed by a sweet lady named Ana who gave us tea and coffee and made us feel right at home. The room was excellent except it never felt like the air conditioning was working properly. And the beds were a bit small for international visitors! Breakfast was hot, filling, and delicious. With home-made jams! Very special and memorable experience."

"An exceptional place—we decided to stay an additional day at Moinho do Maneio, canceling a night in the Douro Valley, because we loved the place and its surroundings so much. Anabela and her husband have created such a special retreat, truly a welcome respite after traveling through the busy cities of Madrid and Seville. The fireplace, the sauna, extra cozy cabin / bed, incredible breakfast with lots of homemade goodies, wine / beer to purchase, etc. all made the stay unique. This seemingly...

"The breakfast was delicious and very generous, and I particularly appreciated the availability of Kosher meals. Additionally, the hotel was exceptionally clean, and the staff were consistently kind and patient. It smelled so nice.

"The place is an old olive oil mill, that was transformed into a B&B, preserving the ancient characteristics. The result is fantastic. I strongly recomend this property!"

"Spectacular drive to the hotel and then from the hotel over the mountains to Coimbre. Views were absolutely amazing. The hotel is fantastic. Loved every minute of our experience there."
"We would have given this property a top rating (5/5) for the beautifully renovated convent buildings, nice room, beautiful bar and dining area in the former chapel, excellent fine dining etc. Our bedroom had a smoke detector above the bed, however, which blinked throughout the night and affected the quality of our sleep."
"we stayed in one of the sculptures. we liked having 100% privacy (no shared walls/floors/ceiling), the top open to the sky, the large shower, and the firm bed. The fridge was also handy for storing drinks we had bought at the grocery store. The pool was great for dangling feet and enjoying the amazing view. Highly recommend doing the "Ruta de pontes" hike for even better views. The breakfast is great, plenty of options. The dinner not so great, but the moscow mule was great."
