"Close to the lake! Best food options for sit down restaurants. Pleasantly surprised by the food in the Dining room. Lake House closer to overlooking the lake but didn’t eat there. Quiet and comfy beds in a small room with one queen bed. Worked for one night. Would stay again. Great location to Sourhern part of park. 25 minutes from Old Faithful."
"An iconic stay. The rooms were better than expected for an older generational establishment. No AC in the summer is a bit rough, but never a deal breaker. No wifi was a blessing in disguise. Can't beat the view or the location for seeing the rest of the park. My one wish was that there was something left in the room at the beginning that explained where and at what times you could get prepared food. As a first timer, it was extra work to figure out where to grab breakfast, lunch, or dinner if you weren't going to dine in the main dining room. One more wishlist item: mini fridge in the rooms would be very helpful for a family/couple on a budget."
"We stayed for 2 nights. The location is perfect for re-entry into Yellowstone! The staff was accommodating with any requests we had. For a place that’s kinda off grid, but has the necessities, it was good."
