"We arrived to the property, the room we originally booked which was the ocean front room was not available. They placed us in a different room that was supposed to be complimentary to the room we booked for the first night and it was not. We were told the oceanfront room would be ready the next day by 1:00 and it wasn’t ready till after 5:00. I wish I could say it got better after this but it didn’t. The ocean front room ended up having flooding problems from the room above it and soaked our clothes. We were told there’s a laundromat down the road that we could wash our clothes at. I’m sorry but the last thing we were going to be doing on our honeymoon was laundry..
Also, be prepared to spend $40 a person for a continental breakfast. Go eat at local places not at the resort. You won’t regret the extra walking.
The guest services at this resort are far from superb. We weren't the only guests with problems. It’s one thing for the front desk to know you for enjoying the stay. It’s another thing for them to know you because of the constant problems. For this being a Hilton resort it sure felt like we stayed at a motel 6. $500 in hotel credits is nothing compared to the thousands we spent staying here.
10/10 recommend staying somewhere else."
