"Each morning there was staff outside cleaning pipes, the walls and ceilings of the outdoor walkway areas. Staff was very responsive to our needs, and everyone was very friendly. Their restaurant had good food, the room was cool and had a ceiling fan which was helpful to keep cool. It is right on the waterfront.
Just unfortunate we were there during a bad season of sargassum which is very smelly. They say it usually lasts about 3 weeks (mid May to early June) but has been about 2 months. This hotel is located on the south side of town right on the Atlantic. Other than that, it was good. Obviously they have no control over the algae problem."
