Great option when visiting Peten

An excellent choice for lodging on trips to Petén. The hotel is remodeled and very well maintained. I highly recommend it. We really enjoyed it. The restaurant is also good, and there's no need to go out to eat. We really liked that the room had a small refrigerator, which came in very handy. The property is excellent for walking around.

Awesome villa in the middle of jungle

Super comfortable and nice looking villas on the lake. Lots of wildlife around (we even saw a crocodile while having breakfast in the restaurant). Many hikes through the rainforest to enjoy the nature. The gem of our whole trip to Guatemala.

This eco-friendly hotel is located on Lagoon Petenchel and surrounded by beautiful rain forest. It’s about one hour away from Tikal Mayan ruins and about 20 minutes away from Flores island. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We recommend staying at the Hotel Villa Maya.
