This hotel was a great value. We were too tired to go into town for dinner; we ate well both nights and the total price was a pleasant surprise. Friendly music entertainment and buffet on Friday night. Free parking. We would love to return.

Poor experience
Hotel is very nice and in a good area of town. Upon arrival we were greeted and helped by a nice staff member who arranged a taxi for us. This was the only positive experience with the staff. Later, we inquired about dinner and the staff told us they were fully booked and suggested we try Uber eats instead of helping us to find a suitable option in town. We asked if we could sit at the bar for a drink, but were denied due to them being fully booked. Luckily, we found a dining option on our own. Later, the music continued shaking our room into the early hours of the morning. A terribly unpleasant experience at a hotel that otherwise seemed quite nice. A bit more customer service would have gone a long way. We will be writing to the management with a formal complaint.

The hotel is well situated, up to date and the staff are friendly and efficient. The breakfast area and service is very busy in the morning and more like a scramble. Towards the weekend it markedly improved. It is well located and about 10 walk to the town.

Very nice hotel, stayed there to celebrate 27th Wedding Anniversary. Didn’t use restaurant as very expensive as were drinks. Some very nice restaurants in nearby town. Good location for palace of Fontainebleau and shops etc Nearby to local Parkrun!

The room was comfortable but was more basic than I expected, e.g. there was no guest information within the room. Breakfast was good but remained almost identical throughout my period of stay.

We ate at the restaurant: the dishes weren't clean at all, the staff at the restaurant without knowledge how to serve correctly, the food poor with stained salad f.ex. We were very disappointed, the rooms were good

Fontainbleau Great Place to Stay
Great central location. Fast check-in, fast check-out. Very laid back, helpful staff. Breakfast was 'OK', room great and comfortable. Nice stay. Staff gave great recommendation for restaurants.

Perfect Tourist Hotel with all expected amenities. You won't be disappointed, especially if you've stayed a " typical " French Hotels. This Hotel is spacious, has Mini Bar, Restaurant, good breakfast and very important A/C. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. There are other hotels closer to shopping and the center of town...but this hotel offers free no hassle parking and the attractions and shopping are a short walk.

Very convenient for meetings at INSEAD
Very pleasant hotel, parking underneath. Only issue was when I arrived (late) there was nobody to check in with and had to get someone from bar. Not a big deal but slightly strange

Nice hotel in a good location. A nice 15 minute walk into the town. Lovely breakfast buffet. If I had to moan about anything it would paper cups provided in the room, which when paying £100 per night you do not expect this .

Great hotel next to INSEAD
Stayed for 5 nights during an INSEAD course. Only 5 mins walk from the campus which is very convenient. Rooms are comfortable, nice breakfast, great lounge area. The front desk team were particularly wonderful. Great service and go out of their way to assist when needed. I particularly want to mention Sophie who was so helpful in helping me try track down my lost mobile phone.

Reliable hotel in wonderful town
Hotel is located a ten minute walk from the city centre. Was very quiet at night and the staff is very good.

This is no 4-star hotel!
The hotel is not taken care of. Trashes on the parking ground, no trash can in the rooms, tv remote which needs to be put 5 cms away from the TV otherwise does not work, broken shower, lousy music (AC/DC) during breakfast time, etc. The hotel manager clearly does not really pay attention to his guests and does not do what it takes to keep the hotel in good conditions. Clearly not a 4-star hotel and definitively below Mercure hotels standards. Located in a nice area but definitively not worth the price / the hotel stars

This hotel was way overpriced. The toilet didn't flush consistently and the tub wouldn't keep water in so no relaxing bath. There was only a tiny bar/restaurant. I shouldn't call it a restaurant, but more of an eatery. Not enough parking, which is supposed to be free self-parking. Breakfast was good, but extra. It tried to be chic and modern, but came up short.

Perfect location close INSEAD Business School
Great for short term stays, particularly when attending programs at INSEAD Business School. Walking distance to Chateau and Center of Fontainebleau. Good breakfast buffet, attentive and helpful staff.

Convenient comfortable hotel
Booked the hotel just a few hours before checking in as we had a horrible experience at another place and needed a quick alternative. Receptionist was very understanding and let us check in early. She also recommended some really nice places to eat in Fontainebleau. Room was clean and comfortable. The mattress was on the soft side for me. Plenty of Parking available. One minor negative: we returned very late from a party and the parking gate closed behind us and their intercom wasn't working and the door from underground parking to reception was locked. So had to call them after walking round for 10min. Overall a good hotel and stay.

Convenient place to stay for Fontainebleau visit
Stayed one night in August 2016 in order to visit Fontainebleau palace. Arrived by car. Check in convenient and fast. Good parking. Had to request room change because of proximity to ongoing renovations but staff was wholly accommodating to that request. Nice lobby area. Hallways somewhat dim and dusty. Room was nice. Beware limited head clearance in shower, that was odd. Really good breakfast buffet, pay what you get for in this case. Staff very friendly. Dog friendly. Enjoyed our stay.
